Which machine is best for a café?

A 1–3 kg machine covers most cafés roasting for in-house use. If you also sell retail bags or wholesale coffee, a 6 kg model gives more room to grow.

What is the difference between SD and YS?

SD is the flagship Probat-inspired platform, available from compact manual machines to fully automatic industrial plants. YS is a Giesen-style cast-iron platform with independent Siemens PLC control, designed for stable continuous production.

Can the roasters connect to Artisan?

YS machines support Artisan through Siemens PLC Modbus. SD and DY models support Artisan through their included or optional communication configuration, depending on model.

How automatic can the production line be?

SD Pro machines can combine PLC roast-curve execution, motorized loading, automatic discharge and profile storage. Fully automatic models support up to 999 custom roast curves and can switch back to manual control.

Do industrial roasters need smoke treatment?

Usually yes, especially in urban industrial areas and for machines above 15 kg. We match ESP filters or high-temperature afterburners to local emission requirements.

What are the typical production and shipping times?

Commercial YS machines typically require about 25–40 days. Industrial machines above 30 kg generally require 45–75 working days; sea freight to Europe or North America commonly adds 25–35 days.

Can I use my own brand and colors?

Yes. OEM options include logo, RAL color, panel labels and co-branded manuals. Standard OEM is available from one machine on eligible models.
